Obituary of Helene Tietz

Tietz, at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Wednesday, October 7, 2009. Helene Anna Tietz of St. Thomas in her 87 th year. Beloved wife of the late Max Tietz. Dear mother of the late Manfred Tietz. Grandmother of Eric, Susan, David, Trevor and their families. Great grandmother of Kyle, Kiersten, Calvin, Joel and Bradley. Sister of Heinz Neukamm and Ella Uiselt. Predeceased by 4 brothers and 3 sisters. Also survived by a number of cousins. Born in Eichkamp, East Germany on June 11, 1923 daughter of the late Mathias andAnna (Muller) Neukamm. Helene came to Canada in 1952, lived in St.Thomas for many years and was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Aylmer. She had worked at the St.Thomas Elgin General Hospital for thirty years. Friends may call at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer 2-4 & 7-9 pm Friday where the funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 10, 2009 at 11:00 am. Prayers 8:00 pm Friday. Interment of the cremated remains Aylmer Cemetery at a later date. Rev. John Goldsworthy, officiating.
