Obituary of Jim Weldon

Whether you knew him as James, Jamie, Jim, Jimmy, or Weldon, you know that although small in stature, he was larger than life. Born to John and Marian Weldon (both deceased), he was the only boy surrounded by 4 sisters. Linda, Kathy (deceased), Laura, and Joanne grew up together on the farm. Jim was an avid baseball player in his youth, something you may not have known. Jim leaves behind his bossy daughter Andrea (Scott) Wiacek and son Jonathan (Andreea). The lights of his life though, truly, were his grandchildren. Colton Wiacek, Finley and Sophie Weldon. They will miss him immensely. He will also be missed by his co-members of the Hacienda Huddle. Please raise a glass tonight to Jim. A celebration of life will be held at the Aylmer R.C. Legion on Saturday, June 13, 2026 from 1-3:00 p.m., followed by a private family internment. Donations to the St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
