Obituary of Prosper Vandenbilcke

Vandenbilcke, Prosper Henry of Aylmer passed away at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Tuesday, April 19, 2016 in his 93rd year. Beloved husband of Simone (Moerman) Vandenbilcke. Dear step-father of Willy Jacobs(Noreen), Eric Jacobs(Cathy), Brenda Cole(Allan), and Randy Jacobs(Rina). Loving grandfather of Sarah, Stephen, Paul, Mark, Chris, Amy, Drew, Lisa, Jeff, Jennifer, Julia, Nicole, Victoria and Melissa and 5 great-grandchildren. Also survived by brothers Willy(Doris), Godfrey(Helen), a sister Godelieve(Mike) and a number of in-laws, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a brother Daniel and a sister Agnes. Born in Belgium on January 4, 1924. Friends may call at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where the prayers will be held Thursday at 8:45 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Sorrows R.C. Church on Friday, April 22, 2016 at 2:30 pm. Interment, Queen of Peace Cemetery. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
