Hello there, There is never a good time for things like this but you must be assured that your Mom was a great Mom and you were always a great daughter to her, you have been blessed with many years together, helping each other so your happy memories are in abundance. We will pray for her soal and I am sure she will rest in peace., Rember the good times, it will make things easier for you. Take care of yourself and do not do all the work that needs to be done. Hi Rosemary, My sister Laurie passed along your email address. I was so sorry to hear about your mom passing away. Laurie and I have such fond memories of those family reunions so many years ago...and all of our Canadian relatives whom we saw only once a year. We are all of us at that age now when parents are getting older and dying, it seems. My husband Bruce's mom passed away last summer, just a month after Laurie's husband died. It was a difficult year for us...so we know some of what you are going through... Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers. Time does, indeed, heal. Hi Rosemary, I was so very sorry to hear about the death of your Mother. I remember her well from our childhood days at the family reunion. She was a lovely person...I know it saddens you so very much and I want you to know that you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. Barbie, Normie O, Tracey, Joe & families. It is hard to tell someone who never met her the kind of a lady she was. She always made a point of visiting everyone at the Ostrander barbeques. Remembering your name – catching up on a year’s news of family and activities. She made the best Black Forest Cake, although Barbie claimed it as her recipe. Moving to a retirement home where things were easier for her. Moved back to the homestead, not for herself, but for her husband because that is where he was happiest. It was always about someone else, not about her. She has been taken to “his home” now. At peace.
