I offer my deepest sympathy to Michael and family on Jennifer's passing. I will always remember her as a most dedicated mother whose love of family and life was always first and foremost with her. As Mayor I was fortunate to be in Jenn's company on many occasions when she was a reporter with our newspaper. Although I was not a part of Jenn's adult life, we had gone to assumption together and I remember her being a quiet and polite person who was always very friendly and kind to everyone. I can't imagine what her family has gone through and what they now will go through. Cancer is a terrible, scary disease that affects too many people of all ages. I am so sorry for her children that will grow up without her. My thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends.

I wish to offer my very deep condolences to Jennifer's family and close friends. As the Director/Curator of the Red Lake Regional Heritage Centre I had the privelege to work closely with Jennifer on many projects and she was always a joy to work with. I was shocked to learn of her passing, as I had heard that she was doing better and may be returning to Red Lake before long. Jenny, you were one of a kind. A true friend that you don't find every day. Someone I could talk to, confide in and trust. You were an amazing mother, wife and friend.
