Obituary of Dorothy Stockford

Stockford, at home, surrounded by her family on Wednesday July 7, 2010. Dorothy Stockford of Aylmer in her 86th year. Beloved wife of the late Wolsey "Stocky" Stockford (2008). Dear mother of Patricia Hoffer and husband Tony of Aylmer, Cheryl Vogel and husband Kurt of Elma, New York, James Stockford and wife Carol of Aylmer and Michael Stockford and wife Wendy of Dorchester. Loved by her grandchildren Robert, Jennifer, Joe, Kate, Chrissy, Maggie, Jamie, Tricia, Mark , Ben, Josh and 11 great grandchildren. Predeceased by a son Thomas, brother Stanley Sitzer and twin sister Doris Priester. Born in Middleton Township Ontario on May 29, 1925 daughter of the late Dalton and Laura (Langohr) Sitzer. Dorothy was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church, St. Thomas and the L.W. M.L. of the church. She had been an employee of Imperial Tobacco and a sales clerk at Sophies Fashions. Friends may call at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Friday, 2-4 & 7-9pm where the funeral service will be held on Saturday July 10, 2010 at 12:00 pm. Interment, Aylmer Cemetery.
