Parker, at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Thursday, March 24, 2011. Carl W. Parker of Aylmer in his 83rd year. Beloved husband of Donna (Meharg) Parker and the late Eleanor (Learn) Parker (1972). Dear father of Brian Parker of Manitoulin Island and Brenda Swindell and husband Ron of Lambeth. Step-father of Mark Smithson and wife Annie of Dundas and Calvin Smithson of Ottawa. Loved by his grandchildren Candy Swindell-Ribey and husband Dean and Charity Hodgins and husband Jason. Great grandfather of Corey, Blain, Parker, Blake, Reg and Grant . Brother of Hazel Mitchell and the late Clifford Parker. Born in Malahide Township Ontario on August 2, 1928 son of the late Glen and Lulu (Shackelton) Parker. Carl, a mechanic, owned and operated Parker's Garage in Aylmer and he was a member of the Goldwing Road Riders. Friends may call at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Sunday 2-4 pm where the funeral service will be held on Monday, March 28, 2011 at 11:00 am. Interment, Aylmer Cemetery. Rev. Norman Jones, officiating.
