Dr. Don was our family optometrist and prescribed me my first glasses when I was in Grade 5 at McGregor School. I remember him as a very kind man. He had a long live and will be missed, Blessings on all his family

We are so sorry to hear of Don's passing. We have many fond memories of visits to Aylmer to share a meal, some swims in the pool, and most of all some wonderful conversations and laughs. Don's sense of adventure and his ever-present smile were gifts he shared so freely with all he met. We loved to hear about the travels and and even the mis-adventures that made his life so interesting and full. He was a true "gentle man", always thinking of others and making everyone around him feel special and important. My thoughts are with Diane, Jennifer, Pamela and family. I spent lots of wonderful time at the Robinson home and enjoyed the company of Don and of course Helene while there. I remember our whole class going to tour the incredible miniature house Don had built in the yard for his girls. My heart goes out to the girls who I know will miss there father greatly. Sorry to hear of Don's passing. He loved to play cards and tell jokes. When I took over the Optimist Toy Drive, Don was there. He had the girls lined up to pack toys in boxes. I will miss his guidance and smile.

Don, Bill and Bob along with their history at Pleasant Valley, shared several service clubs together and I know had many many good times.
