Obituary of William Haayema

Haayema, at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Wednesday, February 1, 2006. William �Bill� Haayema of R.R.#1, Eden in his 65th year. Survived by his wife Janet (Hawes) Haayema. Brother to Dick Haayema and wife Sally of Aylmer, Doet Haayema and husband Johannes of the Netherlands, Mike Haayema and wife Anne of Pt. Burwell, Jane Zsofcsin and husband Jim of Hamilton. Brother-in-law of Marie Shepherd, Yvonne Findlater and husband Jack, Vicky Doctor and husband Henry. Also survived by a number of nieces and nephews. Born in Friesland The Netherlands on August 3, 1941 son of the late Tony and Agnes (Van Der Kooi) Haayema. He worked for Noblewood Transport at R.R.#1, Burgessville for over 33 years. He enjoyed fishing and caring for his rabbits. Friends may call at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where the funeral service will be held on Friday, February 3, 2006 at 11:00 am. Cremation will follow. Rev. Richard de Lange, officiating.
