Obituary of Cecil Dykstra
Dykstra, peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer at Parkwood Hospital on Thursday, February 2, 2006.�Cecil� Sietse A. Dykstra of Richmond in his 66th year. Beloved husband of Joan (Howey) Dykstra. Loving father of Frank Dykstra of Richmond, Catherine Brandow and husband Stephen of Orwell, Teresa Veitch and husband Doug of R.R.#1, Eden, Marlene Dykstra and husband Stan Clarke of R.R.#7, Aylmer and Barbara Carter and husband Ed of R.R.#1, Aylmer. Dear brother of Bill Dykstra(Dickie), Pat Buren(Lawrence), Shel Dykstra(Charmaine), Dorothy Reymer(Eef), Anne Rovers, Marie White(Walter), Tony Dykstra, Agnes Lansink(Herman), Peter Dykstra(Elsie) and brother-in-law of Margaret Dykstra. Also survived by 12 grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his brother Durk Dykstra and a brother-in-law Bert Rovers. Born in Witmarsum The Netherlands on August 23, 1940 son of the late John and Catherine (Anema) Dykstra. He was a carpenter and a member of Our Lady of Sorrows Roman Catholic Church. Cecil enjoyed fishing and hunting. Friends may call at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Sunday and Monday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where parish prayers will be held on Monday at 8:00 p.m. The funeral mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Sorrows Roman Catholic Church on Tuesday, February 7, 2006 at 11:00 am.
