Tom was my son-in-law and friend for many years. He was a kind and gentle man. He was a quiet man and a keen observer. It was this quality that made him a fine artist who could conjure eloquent animals out of simple bits of steel. That quality also made him a person of empathy and understanding. I will always remember his smile and quiet chuckle that went with him everywhere. He made this world a much better place for all of us who were priveledged to share it with him.

Sam & Alex, Tom loved you both very much. He was very supportive and had a much respected love for you all as his family. Sam, Alex, Kiwi and Moo, you were always so important to him. Alex was not his step-son from what we saw and heard as Tom only considered him a son. It was quite evident. My heart breaks for you all and I know how difficult it will be without your “cheerleader”. Every time we think of Tom we think of his dragon, cars, hemis and Charlie the catfish! The kids loved going to see Sam & Tom to feed cheesies to Charlie!! RIP Tom. You will be missed.
