Our sympathy with the loss of your husband and father. I will share a few memories of Andy: when I was 13 years old, he snapped that he didn't need more incompetent workers here ( i had to look the word up), and then asked if I would come back and work the next tobacco harvest :). When i graduated from college, he heartily congratulated me after the morning church service (he noticed in the farm paper!). I remember his laughter and jokes, but also the way he asked and listened with such empathy. I remember that he brought me some of his tools when he moved to town, and was so interested in how the farm was running. I remember his solid faith, and prayers around the dinner table. May your memories bring you comfort and peace in this time of mourning.
