Obituary of Don Campbell

Campbell, Donald "Don" of Aylmer passed away peacefully at Parkwood Hospital with his two girls by his side on Saturday, August 22, 2020 in his 74th year. Beloved husband of the late Nancy (Deane) Campbell. Loving father of Darcy Cramer(Bradley) of Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania and Kayla Campbell(Andrew) of Aylmer. Proud grandfather of Aubrey, Brady, Delaney and Hadley. Brother of Bill Campbell of St. Thomas, Dan Campbell of Aylmer, Doris Groves (Bob) of Waterloo and Cliff Campbell (Marilynne) of Ottawa. Also survived by a number of nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his sister Margo. Born in St. Thomas, Ontario on February 12, 1947, son of the late James and Gertrude Campbell. Don was an active member of St. Paul's United Church, an avid photographer and had a passion for airplanes. He worked at the Ontario Police College for many years and later at the London Police Headquarters prior to retiring.  Don was committed to his family, faith and community. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, friends and family who wish to attend the visitation on Tuesday afternoon must call the funeral home at (519 773 8400) to register(masks are required).  A private family funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 26, 2020. Cremation-burial Aylmer Cemetery.  Donations to Mike Condie Foundation (provides support for St. Thomas Chemo Therapy) or St. Paul’s United Church would be appreciated.
