Obituary of Bertha Johnston

Johnston, Bertha passed away peacefully at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Tuesday, January 4, 2022 at the age of 92. Beloved wife of the late Arthur Johnston(2012). Dear mother of Wayne, Ronnie, Kevin and Laurie(Janet). Loving grandmother of Chris(Ashley), Donnie(Krista), Kitty, Destiny, Ada(Bryan), Angell(Jason), Trevor, Scott and Marylou. Predeceased by her son Larry(1949), brothers Cecil and Gordon and nephew Glenn. She will be missed by her 14 great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. Born in Malahide Township, Ontario on July 30, 1929, daughter of the late Lowell and Ada(Pineo) Baxter. Visitation will be held at the H.A. Kebbel Funeral Home on Wednesday from 12:00-1:00pm. A graveside service will be held at the Aylmer Cemetery on Wednesday, January 12, 2022 at 1:00pm. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Cancer Society would be appreciated.
