It doesn't matter the age or the time on earth, a death is still a huge loss to all those who love someone. I have very fond memories of Aunt Marion. Fortunately, I was blessed to go to Aunt Marion and Uncle Willis' home for Christmas downstairs. I remember the family all being there and the love. It was always a good visit when I returned to Canada and got to see her as well. I loved exchanging Christmas cards with her. Memories are what keep those special people in our lives alive. Grief never ends but it changes. It’s a passage, not a place to stay. It’s not a sign of weakness nor a lack of faith. It is simply the price of love. Only love gives us a taste of true loss. She was such a wonderful lady and I have only fond memories of her at all the family reunions and family weddings when I was a child. One of my favourite aunts! So sorry for your loss David and family. I have such great memories of spending time at your house when I was young for my “summer holiday.” Grandma Hague bought my first crayons which I used to colour my bedroom walls. Loved meeting up with her for lunch with my mom when I was home. Cherish the memories!!❤️
