Unfortunately,I am unable to be with all of our family and friends who are gathered to honour my Grandmother. She was a very loving person, always wanting to help others. She spent many hours making mitts, toques and blankets to send to needy children in poverty stricken countries. Family was very important to her and through her many stories she kept the family history alive. She was full of fun and always ready to tease even up to her last few days. Her kitchen was a wonderful gathering place for family and friends - there was always lots of laughter there. There will be many different memories of my Grandmother but mine will be of her laughter, smile, and twinkle in her eye. She was the only one that called me Kimmy - I will miss her very much.
