Thank you for sharing this beautiful video of memories. Aunt Sylvia was truly a wonderful woman. Her memory and her calm made her such a good listener and fun person to talk to during our Michel's family reunions. I'll never forget when she gave all our family a roll of pennies with our birth year; a forever souvenir. I'm very certain that she will be looking over all of us. Our sincere condolences to all of you! xoxo

Words cannot quite describe the emptiness I feel in my heart - an Angel has left us. Aunt Sylvia was an incredible human who laid the foundation for women in our family. She demonstrated a level of inclusiveness like no other, and never forgot your special day. Each card was thoughtfully signed with “lots of love, Aunt Sylvia”. I will forever be grateful for the memories I have with her as a child, adolescent and adult…each summer Jason & I spent with her, she made sure we never went without. I am sure I share the same sentiment with many, that I can write for hours at the impact she has had on my life. You’re at peace now my beautiful Aunt, I love you more ♥️

In honour of Halloween I will share my memory of mom taking me to see Halloween when I was under age. She was very indignant when they asked if I was old enough. We got in and I loved it, mom walked out on very shaky legs lol. I will miss you forever and a day.

Sylvia was more than a sister to me. She was a trusted confidante, and a mentor for me. I will think of her, and miss her daily. Words cannot describe the loss I feel. For all who knew her, and in our family, she was the historian, able to remember dates/events from not just our family, but anyone related to our family. No longer in pain, Rest In Peace my sweet sister… until we meet again….

I first met your mom in 1991 at GM in hardware. We worked with one another until she retired and attended family functions. She was a wonderful person. Deepest condolences and sincerest sympathy to the family. Hugs. Xo.
