My deepest sympathy to Pat, Greg, Ryan, Trisha and the entire family. I tried to think of my earliest memory of Wayne, but it goes all the way back to childhood, which is saying alot. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you all. If it's alright, I'd like to share a poem that touched me many years ago and I hope that it brings you comfort now as well. His Journey's Just Begun Don't think of him as gone away-- his journey's just begun, life holds so many facets-- this earth is only one... Just think of him as resting from the sorrows and the tears in a place of warmth and comfort where there are no days and years. Think how he must be wishing that we could know today how nothing but our sadness can really pass away. Watched the video clip, beginning to end. Such beautiful photos and memories to treasure. I think my first memory of Wayne was of course, at the Fin &Feather. Wayne, Pat , Trisha all at the water. I was nervous being taken there unannounced of course, but good ole Pat Miles says, it’s ok, they won’t mind. And sure enough they just welcomed us into their world that day, just as they always are, warm, friendly and kind. Such a beautiful family I have gotten to see grow with all the beautiful grandchildren. Wayne was always outside being industrious with his yard, his dog, or playing with those beautiful grand babies. Wayne will truly be missed.

Same age, same grade, mainly same schools, same hockey teams, same friends, my cousin, great friend like a brother growing up. Unreal times & memories! Hey Wayne, you checked out just a tad early, but someone has a great plan for you on the other side. Sad for Pat, family and friends, but I know your doing just fine as you always have.
