Robert (Bauke) Hulst

Our hearts rejoice that on Saturday, July 15, 2023, Dad was reunited in glory with our mom, Corrie(2015) and our brother, Dan(2019), his parents, Andries and Antje, and his brothers John, Andy, and Fred.

Loved always by his two daughters, their husbands and children, and his great-grandchildren, Connie and Gord Sivyer (Ryan and Megumi and Noah, Hilary and Mandy and Hartley and Aurora, Lydia and Davis, Bob and Emily) and Lisa and Brad Baxter (Andrew, Rachel, Victoria and Christine).

Dad will be missed and fondly remembered by brother Rinus Hulst (Audrey) and sister Kiny (Terry) and many in-laws, nieces, nephews, friends and members of Fellowship CRC in St. Thomas.

Born October 9, 1939, in Den Helder, The Netherlands, Dad came to Canada with his family as a child. Over his lifetime, he was a heavy-duty mechanic, tobacco farmer, real estate agent, custodian, and groundskeeper. Dad loved coaching hockey and coaching and playing baseball. It was a great joy to him to watch his grandkids compete in sports.

Friends and family are invited to visit at Fellowship Christian Reformed Church, 641 Elm St., St Thomas, at 10 AM on Monday, July 24, 2023 followed by Celebration of Life service at 11 AM. All are invited to remain for lunch following the service.

There were few things that dad couldn't fix or build, and he was always willing to help anyone in need with repairs or renovations of any kind.
