Obituary of Barry Martin

Martin, Barry of Elgin Manor and formerly of Aylmer passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at his residence on Wednesday, August 9, 2023 in his 78th year. Beloved husband of the late Elizabeth (Purdy) Martin(2011).  Dear father of Kent Martin(Tammy) of Aylmer and Kim Petersen(Lars) of Calgary. Loving Papa of Mackenzie(Matt), Akayla(Curtis), Austin, Hunter, Jasmine(Brad), Marshall, Karah and Leif. Brother of Charlie Martin(Nancy) and David Martin(Marlene). Also survived by a number of nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his sister Marlene Winegardner(Roy).  Born in Tillsonburg, Ontario on December 24, 1945, son of the late Ross and Kathleen Martin. Barry worked for Catfish Creek Conservation Authority for many years. Visitation will be held at the H.A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Monday from 2:00-4:00p.m. and 6:00-8:00p.m. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, August 15, 2023 at 11:00 am. Interment, Aylmer Cemetery.
