Obituary of Joanne Oostrom

Oostrom, Joanne of Port Burwell passed away at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Tuesday, August 29, 2023 in her 76th year. Beloved wife of Bill Oostrom. Dear mother of Albert Oostrom(Kim) of St. Thomas, Willy Oostrom(Brenda) of Glencoe, James Oostrom of Glencoe and Lisa Moosberger(Tony) of Aylmer. Loving grandmother of Theresa, Haley, Bryanna(Shane), Jonathan and great-grandmother of Mackenzie, Daniel, Bryn and Sawyer. Sister of Marilyn Pettit and Bob Phillips. Predeceased by her grandson Sean.  Born in St. Thomas, Ontario on October 24, 1947, daughter of the late Bud and Hazel(Whaley) Phillips. Joanne was a member of the Our Lady of Sorrows R. C. Church. She graduated from Fanshawe College for social work for the elderly and later worked at Goodwill Industries London. She loved playing the accordion and organ and making greeting cards. Visitation will be held at the H.A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Friday from 6:00-8:00 p.m. The funeral mass will be held at the Our Lady of Sorrows R. C.
