Although it has been several years since Marilyn attended St. John's United Church, we do have good memories of her time with us. Many people recall that, although she was a quiet person, she always was friendly and helpful. When we were catering a funeral reception, Marilyn usually donated a few loaves of sandwiches. For our Snowflake Bazaar, she donated some baked goods and assisted with selling many items. Marilyn was also a member of the choir for a few years. One year we organized a Christmas Home Tour, and Marilyn offered her beautifully-decorated home as one of the places to view. We lost a valuable member when Marilyn moved away.
