Audrey Jean Hill of Aylmer passed away peacefully at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Saturday March 23, 2024. Treasured wife of the late Arthur (Bud) Hill (2021). Dear mother of Cheryl Bido, Joe Hill (Carolyn) and Charlene Ierullo (Vito). Also survived by her brother Gary and sisters Irene, Julia, Bonnie, Shirley and half-sister of Helen. She was a cherished grandmother and great-grandmother and will be missed by a number of nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her daughter Christine Hill, son-in-law Wally Bido, grandson Jeremy Bido, her parents, sister Margie, half-sister Gloria, her brothers Fred, Donnie, and Paul. She was born in Malahide Township on December 19, 1933. Bud and Audrey’s greatest joy was being great role models to their family and to many children and teenagers in our community. Audrey worked on many farms growing up. She was also a healthcare aid for many years at the Sunnyside Manor in Aylmer. Being a caregiver for the seniors in Aylmer led her to volunteer for Meals on Wheels with Bud. They were also avid diehard fans of ladies’ slo-pitch baseball at Balmoral Park for years. Visitation will be held at the H.A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Wednesday from 6-9pm. The funeral service will be held at the H.A. Kebbel Funeral Home on Thursday, March 28, 2024 at 11:00 am. Cremation-Burial, Aylmer Cemetery. Donations to Meals on Wheels(cheques payable to: Victorian Order of Nurses, Middlesex-Elgin) or Aylmer Evangelical Missionary Church designated to the Refugee Fund in memory of Audrey.
