Dear Shirley and family. We are so very sorry to hear of your loss of your dear husband and father, Emerson. I have known Emerson through the ABC most of my life and Joe met him later. We always found him to be a quiet, gentle man who was easy to talk to. You two made the perfect couple together. You will miss Emerson. Our deepest sympathies. We have been away so were unable to attend visitation or the funeral but our thoughts were with you. May all your happy memories comfort you and may it help to know friends care.

Shirley and family, we are so sorry for your loss. I knew Emerson for about 8 years and in that time he always spoke so highly of his entire family.
His co-workers at Hyundai will miss him. He was the most reliable and dependable person to have on our team.
On a personal note, I always enjoyed when Terry was playing at local pubs and Emerson and Shirley would come by - I never got tired of watching them dance the night away! He was a kind and generous person and I am happy to have known him,

What a pleasant, Godly man was Emerson. My husband Rudy and I have fond memories of so many Life Group meetings, pot lucks and of course times when someone would say "road trip"! and off we'd go. Our yearly week at the cottage was special fun; so much laughter and joyful times with all of us honouring our Lord sometimes in bathing suits! Now Emerson gets to honour his Lord in person, in His Presence forever.
We look forward to catching up with Emerson in the not too distant future. Meanwhile we lift Emerson's family and especially his wife, our friend, Shirley, and ask that God's hand on them all will provide His supernatural peace.
"The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." Psalm 34:18

My sincere condolences to Emerson’s family upon hearing of his passing. I accompanied Emerson on a number of dealer trades over the years at Clarington Hyundai. I don’t ever recall him arriving for a trip without his bottle of Coke…great guy!
