Obituary of Thomas Shardlow

Shardlow, at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Tuesday, November 7, 2006. Thomas George Shardlow of Port Bruce in his 69th year. Beloved husband of Jean (McLain) (Roose) Shardlow. Dear father of Tom Shardlow of Oregon, Bill Shardlow and wife Deb of Wisconsin, Rick Shardlow and wife Deb of Aylmer, Robbie Shardlow and Deb Shardlow both of Michigan. Sister of Marilyn Payne of Tillsonburg. Son-in-law of Ruth McLain of Port Bruce. Step-father of Larry Roose of Michigan, Susanne Roose of Chatham and Angela Randall of Jeannette�s Creek. Also survived by a number of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Born in Hamilton on January 2, 1938 son of the late Thomas Neale and Mary Margaret (Crawford) Shardlow. Tomwas an active member of Col. Talbot Branch #81 of the Royal Canadian Legion. He was an employee of Ford Motor Company at Talbotville and retired in September 30, 1998. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at the Aylmer Legion on Saturday, November 18 at 11:00 a.m.
