Obituary of Inis Gibbons

Gibbons, Inis Marie passed away peacefully at Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital on Tuesday, May 28, 2024 in her 95^th year. Beloved wife of the late Lloyd Gibbons (2011). Loving mother of Brenda Dunn(late Ronald) of Aylmer, David Gibbons(Jennifer) of Straffordville, Doug Gibbons(Dyllis) of Straffordville, April Beaton(John) of St. Thomas and Judy Legg of Tillsonburg. Loved by her grandchildren James, Kandy, Michael, Sandra, Mark, Douglas, Richard, Robert, Julie, Jesse, Crystal and Justin. Sister of Paul Ward(Rita), Joyce Cook, Marie Ward, Arnold Ward(Marilyn), Doris Clark, Max Ward(Sue) and Danny Ward. She will be sadly missed by her great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her grandson Shawn, great-grandson Ryan, great-granddaughter Aleesha, and siblings Juanita Francia, Treva Johnson, Dewey Ward and Lois Moseley. Born in Straffordville, Ontario on November 30, 1929 daughter of the late Nelson and Marguerite(Ward) Nevill. With Lloyd, Inis operated a tobacco farm and Gibbons Trailer Sales for many years. She was a life-long resident of Richmond and worked at Imperial Leaf Tobacco. The funeral service will be held at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Saturday, June 1, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation one hour prior to. Cremation-burial, Light Cemetery.
