We were so sad to hear of Laurels passing. When I think of her I remember the fierce love and pride she had for her family. Her speech at Sabrina and Jordan’s wedding was one filled with love and pride. You are all in our thoughts. Love and peace to you all. Greg and Mama Deb

Laurel was such a great friend to me in the early '70s. I sang at her wedding and enjoyed many visits to their home "on the hill".
When she came back from a trip to Tunisia she told so many interesting stories about a culture I had never heard of before. We continued our friendship long distance when I moved to Calgary and over the years, when I would come home to visit family, we kept in touch. May you rest in peace, dear Laurel, and rejoice in the fact that you are now free from the crippling disease that changed your path in life. My deepest condolences to Bill, Nigel and Jordan.

Bill and Family,
I have been so honoured to care for Laurel for these past 3 years while I've been at the home, she was truly a ray of sunshine at agecare! We will miss her so much, her laugh, her smile, her babbling (telling us stories) and sometimes the odd words that she would throw out there! So sorry for your loss, and I hope you guys can find the comfort that you need during this time!
