Rev. Jones was chaplain at Terrace Lodge when my mother went into long-term care there. I watched his kind and gentle ministering and heard his encouraging words to her and others quite a few times there. We missed him when he resigned.
Our sincere condolences to the entire Jones family.

Rev Jones was a fixture in my life growing up and influenced my eventual advent into ministry serving the church and community. I am so thankful for his blessing and commissioning as I entered ordination. His firm reminder that my life is set apart for proclaiming the gospel echoes in my life work.
No compromise on what he believed but collaboration with the broader community under-girded his ministry. I can attribute the lessons I learned on ecumenism, boldness and steadfastness to my beginnings.
“It’s not high you can jump but how far you can walk after the revelation.”
Deep condolences to his kids and Tiena as you have to continue the path without him. I know he loved you deeply. Thanks for sharing your dad and husband with us all.

Rev. Jones was an amazing man and minister. He always had time to talk and really listen. For the 4 or 5 years he trusted me to pick out the perfect card for Tina whether it be her birthday, anniversary or Christmas, God only takes the best.

I have many fond memories of Mr. Jones, starting with him as our next door neighbour in the 90s. He was always kind, gracious, and ready to impart words of wisdom - the consummate gentleman. His pleasant Welsh accent made him especially endearing to listen to and his dedication to the Gospel was always apparent. My sincerest condolences to Mrs. Jones and the family. May God wrap you in His arms of comfort as you mourn his passing and celebrate his storied life.

Loetta and I send along our sincere sympathy to Tiena and family in Norm's passing. We have many happy memories of times together over the years. When Norm pastored at Aylmer I was often asked to take his pulpit when he was on vacation. Norm was a man of God's Word and faithful in his pastoral visitation. We would love to attend the funeral but live north of Toronto at Uxbridge. However, it wont be too long before we join him in Heaven as we are both in our 93rd year. A good man has been called to the home that God prepared for him. Our prayers are with you.

Piet has always spoken so highly of Nornan, and credited him with Piet's becoming a member of St. Paul's U.C." When the atident was ready the preacher /teacher appeared." It meant a lot to Piet that Rev.Jones shared with him that Tom,Piet's Dad had tears in his eyes the day Piet was confirmed.,that he was so proud of Piet on that day..R.I.P.,Norman.
