My Condolence goes out to you and your family Margaret. It's a very sad time that one goes through what they lost their Parent. It is a feeling that most of us will never recover from. I do hope that his Soul Is Resting In Peace.

When I think of my best memories of my grandfather I remember him smiling ear to ear in his brightly coloured work shirt with a big flower on the front and the words, "Flower Power". I remember the wonderful summer I spent with my grandparents in St. Catherine's and all the times they were kind enough to take me home for weekends when I was in college. I feel very thankful to have had a Grandfather who took time to connect with me even when I was a weird and moody teenager. I am so glad my children had a chance to meet him and I hope when they think of him they remember the time he took to listen and play with them as well.
