It is hard to believe that a year has gone by since Uncle Roy passed. Just a quick note to let you know that he will never be forgotten in my eyes. I do miss being around family like when we were younger and really did get to know our aunt,uncle and cousins well. Those were the best of times that our children will never get to appriciate. It makes us strieve to spend as much time with our grandchildren as possible. You will be in my thoughts as the coming week goes by. Love to all, Cindy

David,Robert,Kathy,George and families, Our thoughts are with you with the passing of Uncle Roy. I have many happy memories spent with all of you. I especially am fond of the memories of stopping in the hardware store as a young girl and being greeted by Uncle Roy's infectious smile. He was always a big kid at heart! Although many miles separate us, I am very greatful for the closeness of our families in our younger years and hope that we all keep in touch in the future. Love to all!

A Christmas tradition was the kids shopping for me. It didn’t matter what they bought, useful or not, it came from the heart. They were allotted just so much money and off they went. They went into Monteith Hardware and were browsing around. The clerk, Mr. Sinden took the time with them. The two oldest had pick out and paid for their gifts, but the youngest one, about age three was still looking. She picked up a pair of salt shakers. Laying her coins on the counter she didn’t have enough money. He must have been taken by this little red headed; brown eyed tot and he reached into his pocket paying the difference. Thank you Mr Sinden. )
