Obituary of Barbara Hunsperger

Hunsperger, Barbara of Wellesley and formerly of Aylmer passed away at Stratford General Hospital on Thursday, December 26, 2024 in her 96th year. Beloved wife of the late Gerry Hunsperger(2015). Dear mother of Joanne Boss (Mike) and the late Susan Rausa (2021)(Rick) and Douglas Hunsperger(2012). Barb was very devoted to her family and she will be especially missed by her grandchildren Dave Rausa(Natalie), Carrie Maure(Scott), Kim Dietrich (Andrew), Jenn Roth (Kevin) and great-grandchildren Andrew and Elizabeth Maure, Michael and Jack Rausa, Jovie and Ben Dietrich, Oscar and Hazel Roth. Predeceased by great-grandson Simon Roth (2023) and daughter-in-law Janet, grandson Keith and granddaughter Rachel. Born in Toronto, Ontario on May 17, 1929, daughter of the late Gordon and Doris(Carter) Seaton.
Barb made the most of her 95 years-enjoying golfing and friends in Grand Bend, winters in Florida and more recently moving closer to family in the Wellesley area to enjoy her great grandchildren. Barb loved playing cards and enjoyed spending time at the cottage. She was truly loved by everyone who knew her. She will be remembered as a warm, caring woman who was happiest spending time with her family. Cremation with private family interment in the Aylmer Cemetery.
