Obituary of Judy VanOverloop

Van Overloop, Judy Anne of Aylmer passed away peacefully with her family by her side at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Tuesday, December 31, 2024 in her 80th year. Beloved wife of 36 years to Florent Van Overloop. Dear mother of Brent Meharg(Ramona) of Belmont, Darren Meharg(Christine) of Lambeth and step-mother of Andre Van Overloop(Deanna) of Dorchester, Annette Beuschleb(Scott) of Dorchester and Carl Van Overloop(Heidi) of Aylmer. Loving grandmother of Joe, Beau, Kelsey(Ryan), Julien(Jodie), Lydia(Dylan), Alex, Sophie, Christopher(Nicole), Matthew, Nicholas(Kayla) and great-grandmother of Brinley. She will be missed by her sister Carol Craig and a number of nieces and nephews. Born in Chatham, Ontario on July 28, 1945, daughter of the late Acey and Anna(Davidson) Simpson, formerly of Ridgetown. Judy was a school teacher in Windsor. Judy and Florent enjoyed many years in Pompano, Florida. A celebration of Judy’s life will be held at the H.A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Saturday, January 11, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation one hour prior. Donations to Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
