Marion My condolences to you and your family. I have fond memories of Harold from when he was lay minister at Jaffa Church, he also took part in my wedding and for the past several years has frequented Dad's garage. He has shared many interesting stories about his life and how important family is to him. He was a very special person and I feel very honoured to have spent time with him. Belinda Irwin Neville

Dear Mrs. Ashton (I am Bob & Judy Holt's daughter). My husband Rick and I would like to extend our very sincere condolences to you and your family. I did not know Mr.Ashton well personally, but I know he meant the world to Bob and he seemed like a very kind and gentle man the few times I did meet him. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Harold's father went to church with his bees in his car. Harold went to church with a song in his heart. He was very dedicated to the little church in Jaffa and it's congregation. It was he who kept it open as long as there was a congregation - a church is just a building without a minister. I am sure everyone who attended the Jaffa Baptist church has special memories of him - I do. He was the same happy person, in his ministry, his business, his friendship and family life. He will certainly be missed.

To The Ashton Family: We are very sorry to hear of Harold's passing. We would like to extend our condolences to Marion, Gary & Carol and Alvin & Norma and families. Harold will always be remembered as a "Man" who gave me a better life. Harold was a man of his word and put others before himself. I will cherish all the wonderful memories that I have of Harold and Marion and their family. Sorry we were out of town and missed the Funeral.
