Obituary of Ted Rabbets

Rabbets, at London Health Science Centre-University Campus on Monday, January 21, 2008. "Ted" Albert Edward Rabbets of St. Thomas in his 69th year. Beloved husband of Elaine (Watcher) Rabbets. Dear father Gary Rabbets and wife Colleen, Doug Rabbets, Terry Rabbets and partner John Smallman, Jeff and Mark Rabbets. Step-father of Scott McComb and wife Sonia and Craig McComb and partner Lezley. Loving grandfather of Jarret, Brennan, Chad, Tatiana, Tara, Jenna, Jordan and Huxley. Brother of Bev Rabbets and wife Isa and Paul Rabbets and wife Liz. Born in St. Thomas on May 24, 1939 son of the late Douglas and Bertha (Brunsdon) Rabbets. Ted was great supporter of minor sports. He was Past President of Aylmer Minor Hockey and coached the Aylmer Juveniles to a championship in 1972. He was coach of the Aylmer Blues 1974-77. Ted was an avid Golfer, Curler and Barber shopper. He was Deputy Umpire Chief for Ontario, Zone Umpire Chief and umpired for many years. He played baseball for the Aylmer Centrals. Ted was a member of St. Paul's United Church. He owned and operated "Pest Control Services" and retired in 2004. Friends may call at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held at St. Paul's United Church on Thursday, January 24, 2008 at 11:00 am. Interment, Aylmer Cemetery. Rev.
