Richard was a great man of God and we really appreciated him especially during the time he served us here in the Leamington EMMC church. Great messages that God laid on his heart and the bible studies he led were wonderful. He used the catechism a lot to teach on and I appreciated that and so did many others. We will miss him and may you be comforted by the Holy Spirit in this season of loss but also knowing what He has gained! We are praying for you.

For all of the Hamm Family, We have truly learned to love and appreciate Richard. His wisdom, words of encouragement, "aul siene aunspornunk" to share the love of Jesus to "our people" has been so appreciated! We take comfort in knowing that he suffers no longer, he fought the good fight, and kept the faith, and was never ashamed to share his love for his Saviour with anyone and everyone! However, we also acknowledge that his departure from this earth leaves a deep hole in many hearts and lives... we are praying for you. No matter where we are, in Canada, Mexico, or Bolivia, God is God of the whole universe, and thanks to technology, we are aware of your situation and uphold you in our prayers.

Dear Hamm family, Today you are saying good bye to a dear husband, father, grandfather, uncle, ... Like you many of us will also miss him. He touched the l;ives of so many with his passion for the Plautdietsch people and his desire for each person to know God. I have personally benifitted from his warm care and have heard many testimonies of the same. He reminds me to live life full out since we know life on earth is short and eternity everlasting. To Elisabeth and family. We were saddened to hear of Richard's passing. Ella and I have so many fond memories of times spent with you, in your homes at the places of ministry in Ontario, Santa Rita, MX and Vauxhall, AB. Richard was a committed and sincer servent of God. His enthusiasm for the ministry and love for the people was such a great blessing. He was always a positive person even when the ministry was tough. He had a way of connecting with people even if they did not attend his church. Richard had a way of getting peope involved in church and was a good mentor to many persons today involved in ministry. We could tell many stories and would love to sit with you to talk about his life. Maybe some day that will be possible. Richard is now enjoying the rewards of his dedidicated and often sacrificial labours for the Lord. Our thoughts and prayers are with you Elisabeth and family. May you experience God's comfort and peace at this time of great loss. Richard will be missed by many, including us.

I met Mr.Hamm as a very young child at Houghton Centre Church so many many years ago. He was a janitor in Langton Public School where I attended. He always greeted me in the hallways and always had a happy face. I looked forward to seeing him everyday. When I saw him, I saw the Joy of the Lord. As many who knew him know, he also drove bus for the catholic school board. His bus would pass by my place every morning and he would wave on his way past. He stopped his bus one day to let me know that the public school had a PA Day and that I wasn't going to be picked up that morning. He was just a very caring person. It was those little things that he did that stuck in a young girls memory. He made me feel important and loved. My condolences to his dear family and loved ones who mourn his loss now. May you find comfort in knowing that Mr.Hamm left a wonderful legacy to those he encountered throughout his life here on earth. Mr.Hamm, we will meet again and I know that you will be beaming with joy as I recall in my memories.

We were saddened to hear of Dick's passing. We have some wonderful memories of spending time with him, especially while Jack was conference minister. A very sincere and caring man who loved the Lord. He certainly has a story that is worth remembering. I offered at one time that I would write up his story, especially how he came to faith and a new life. I was so overwhelmed when he shared it with me. Your loss is great and so is ours. We wish you all the best and God's grace to walk through this time of sorrow.

Mr. Diedrich Hamm will be missed. We have served with the Hamms on the mission field in Santa Rita Chihuahua Mexico, and it was a joy and a time i will never forget. He was a man full of the joy of the Lord, and now is in His presence. He has been a great blessing to me and us as a family.

Another Angel got his wings today, and as hard as it is for us to be left behind, remember he is still protecting you anytime you ask him to, or even when you don't. I am Truly sorry for your loss... My memories of Diedrich are very precious. When he sang, the whole room was filled with Glory! When he spoke, he was heard, and with pleasure. I remember the first time I heard him speak The Word and I was eager to hear him speak again, any chance I got.
