Auntie Sue and Uncle Joe,
Our deepest sympathies for you at this time.
We wanted to share with you a fond memory of ours about Oma. I believe it was just after Easter, 2004 that we had returned from South America and had come to your place for a visit. Oma was there and greeted us warmly. When we told her we had been in South America, she suddenly starting counting in Spanish. She lit up with energy and had lots to say. It was very cute.
She and Opa were always so good to Jen and me growing up, leaving us treat bags with chocolate bars and five dollar bills stashed inside whenever the occasion arose. I think she resorted to slipping them in the wrapper of the chocolate bar when suggested she should stop doing that
I will forever remember her as a strong and caring woman with a good memory and fireball kind of energy about her. In fact, Kathy and I chose to honour those qualities of hers by including her name as one of Hannah's middle names (we also quite like the name Eva). She will be missed. Jeremy, Kathy and Hannah Sager.

Dear Joseph & Susan Jakob, we are saddened to hear of Eva 's passing. Eva was a very kind and friendly person ,who had a smile for everyone she came in contact with. We came to know her from church, she sat behind us and was very kind to our two girls spoiling them with sweet treats. This world was a better place because she was in it and you couldn't help but love her. You were very blessed to have her in your lives and she will be miss by all who loved her. May God Bless you and your family at this sad time, but I am sure she is resting in Our Lord Jesus Christ's arms .
