To All of Barbier Family I'm so sorry to hear of your loss...Its a long way back to high school days but I certainly cant forget all the great times I had out at your parents place....Both your Mom and your Dad always made me feel welcomed and I was always greeted with a smile...It was always fun to get out there and listen to some music. Hi George and Marilyn and Families I was sorry to read about your mother. Mona and I spoke this morning and we often thought about your mother and wondered how she was doing. I remember the good times that we all had at the farm and her warm smile. I never really looked at my 'young years' working in tobacco as a chore, more of a good time. Of course Dora met Ed there and her three boys have all done very well. Ed died a couple of weeks ago and Don and his wife, Helen, went to NC for the service. I recently married again. Two of the boys were here for the wedding. Connie passed away a couple of years ago and I lost my daughter,Erin, in August last year. I married a friend of ours. Your mom and dad were wonderful people and I think of them every time I hear some song of Ronnie Hawkin's. Hope I see you sometime. Gord Noels
