Zacharias, Elisabeth of St. Thomas passed away at Valleyview Home on Wednesday January 29, 2014 in her 91st year. Beloved wife of the late Peter Zacharias(2004). Dear mother of Jacob Zacharias and wife Mary of R.R.# 1 Eden, Margaret Zacharias of St.Thomas, Eva Peters and husband Abe of Seminole, Texas, Annie Zacharias of St.Thomas and the late John Zacharias(2006). Mother-in-law of Sara. Loved by her grandchildren Rosemary Meeder(Rob), Christine Strieb(Chris), Nancy Janzen(Andy), Lisa Wiebe(Will), Anna Friesen(James), Johnny Peters(Annie), Cornelius Peters(Nancy), Sara Klassen(Abe), Yolanda Guenther(Stan) and Amanda Peters. Also survived by an number of great grandchildren. Predeceased by a brother Peter Goertzen. Born in Rosengart, Manitoba on August 30, 1923, daughter of the late Peter and Elisabeth (Giesbrecht) Goertzen. Friends may call at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Saturday 2-4 pm. The funeral service will be held at the Old Colony Mennonite Church, Aylmer on Sunday February 2, 2014 at 3:00 pm. Interment, Old Colony Mennonite Cemetery.
