Uncle Dave, you will be missed by so many of us. I didn't spend much time with you while I was an adult, but my memories of you are those of a very kind, intelligent, talented, and funny man who walked this earth with dignity and humility. As the last one of your siblings, your passing also brings with it the very sad realization that an entire generation of Knelsons is no longer with us. I treasure you, and I have great admiration for the love that you shared with those around you. You will always have a place in my heart as a very special Uncle. Thoughts and prayers to the family. Dear Kathy and family, Dave was a man of quiet dignity, gentleness, kindness, always ensuring the needs of his wife, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren were his first priority, before himself. I remember telling grandpa a couple of times how I wanted a dresser. Then one Christmas the grandkids were to follow them downstairs. Grandma uncovered 4 end tables they had built and I thought they were for the granddaughters, and then she uncovered 1 dresser and I thought it was for the only grandson. However to my dismay they told me it was mine, I was so happy and thankful I couldn't help but cry. Thank you so much Grandpa for all the beautiful furniture you made me I am grateful I have them. You will truly be missed but I know you are at peace and that I will see you again. Love you always.
