Carroll, Scott at Hamilton Health Sciences - General Site on Friday, April 13, 2012. Scotty Carroll of Richmond in his 86th year. Beloved husband of Shirley (Broad) Carroll. Dear father of Tim and Agnes Carroll of Richmond, Cherie and Duncan Hall of Pt.Bruce, Kelly Walcarius of Tillsonburg and Becky Hampton and Mike Papps of Rondeau. Loved by 8 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Predeceased by a brother Allen and a sister-in-law Marian. Born in Iron Mountain, Michigan on August 21, 1926 son of the late James and Gladys (Lossing) Carroll. Scott had been very active in his community. He was a member of Boy Scouts in Springford and Delhi, an avid card player at the Norwich Legion, a coach and umpire of Minor Baseball for several years, a member of the Springford Rod and Gun Club, a past president of the Straffordville Lions Club and a member of the Aylmer Curling Club. In keeping with Scott's wishes cremation has taken place and a family graveside service will be held in Norwich Cemetery at a later date. Donations to the Salvation Army would be appreciated.
