Powers, at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Tuesday, July 15, 2008. Janet Marie Powers of St. Thomas in her 73rd year. Beloved wife of 55 years of Donald Powers. Dear mother of Deborah Badgley and husband Rick of St.Thomas, Donna Powers of St.Thomas, Kim Powers of St.Thomas and the late Laurie Schaeffer . Loved by 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Also survived a number of brothers and a sister. Born in St. Thomas Ontario on April 6, 1936, daughter of the late Edward and Ellen (McDonald) Wraight. Janet had lived at New Sarum most of her life. Cremation has taken place. A private family only service will be held at Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Thursday July 17,2008. Interment ashes , Orwell Cemetery.
