Tom and I bought & sold Antiques to each other for over 40 years, we both loved a good deal. Our Son Dan still remembers when Tom took he and Andrew up North for a Fishing Trip, when they were growing up in the early eighties. All the Best to Sandy and the Children through this difficult time.

Tom was a special person to me, we talked a lot about the last war, how he lost his family members, some at sea. We shared our love for watches, helped each other if it was possible, although not related, I felt as close to him as I would towards my own brother. My deepest sympathies to all of you. Our family regarded Tom as an outstanding and decent man who was admired and respected. He was the photographer for the Township of Malahide when Dad was on council. They started a friendship that lasted until Dad’s passing in 2012. Our door was always open for Tom no matter the time or the day and the tea kettle ready whenever he came for a much enjoyed visit. I treasure the times he was able to stop in even after Dad’s passing, as he struggled with health issues. Tom Brunton, rest in peace, my friend. You will be sorely missed.
