We were so very sorry to hear of Margaret’s passing. Our condolences to all her family. She was a great quilter and friend to our Hearts and Hands guild and attended our retreats. She took all our scrap fabric and made dog beds for shelters and even donated a couple to a member who fosters dogs. When we made quilts for the immigrant families from the Ukraine, she offered to quilt and bind a quilt for us. She had a kind and generous heart and will be missed by all that knew and loved her.

I met Margaret for the first time when she was in her business, she was the nicest lady you could have ever dealt with. I met her years later at aqua fit and then when I started quilt saw her again. She was a great lady with many talents but, when you met her for the first time she was very kind to whom ever she met. I am honoured to have met her daughters and grand daughters whom she loved talked about with great love and affection. It was a great honour to have met Dick and spend many hours over the years quilting in her basement with other quilting members and friends. I am really sadden to have received this notice of her passing. God bless your family, a great lady was taken home. Carol Rockx and family

Norman and I have fond memories especially of the wedding of Marg and Dick, on my birthday, six of us together in the Fellowship Room at St. Paul’s. I was her Matron of Honour. That way we remembered anniversaries and also a birthday shared by Marg and Norman.
Norman’s memory goes back to his beginning in Canada from Wales, in Straffordville when Edith Melchior came to the train to meet him and his family. God bless you all as you remember a very fine lady.
Our deepest condolences. Norman and Tiena Jones

Lisa, Lorie and families - Hanging out at your house through out high school was always a fun experience. I remember your mom with a welcoming smile and always a laugh. Marg was lots of fun! I'll remember her as a hard working and respected self-made business woman who showed us young girls that we could do anything we put our minds to. She will be missed.

I am so sorry to hear of Marg’s passing. My condolences to her family. I only knew Margaret about 12 years but from day one of meeting her, we became good friends. We shared a love of nature and spent many afternoons taking walks on their property, enjoying the natural world that was around us. I will miss those walks. RIP my dear friend.

I am so saddened to hear the passing of your mom and grandma. She will be missed by many. I enjoyed visiting with her
during her appointments over the years. We would fix the “worlds” problems, share recipes and photos of family. She was an incredible artist with material and a sewing machine, making beautiful keepsakes. That I am sure you will treasure for eternity.
I have a particularly fond memory of Lorie and I taking our mom’s on a bus trip to see the Sound of Music. A perfect day out for mothers and daughters. Marg was very proud of all her “girls” both older and younger and a part of her will live on in each of you.
I hope during this difficult time you can share not only tears, but smiles as you remember the “good old days” and all those great memories. Hugs to you all, and my deepest condolences Melinda
