Obituary of Margaret Hornsby

Hornsby, Margaret Anne of Aylmer passed away with her family by her side peacefully at home on July 17, 2024 in her 74th year. Beloved wife of Richard “Dick” Brown. Dear mother of Lorie McMillan(Craig) of Tillsonburg, Lisa Conroy(Allan) of Vancouver, B.C., step-mother of Virginia Brown(Richard) and Wayne Brown. She will be missed by her grandchildren Hannah and Marley as well as her sister Shirley Biro(late Carl) and a number of nieces and nephews. Born in Port Burwell, Ontario on January 25, 1951, daughter of the late Mario and Edith(Argue) Melchior. Margaret founded, owned and operated Hornsby Canvas in Tillsonburg until her retirement in 2017. She was a prolific and avid quilter, loved baking for her family and enjoyed going for long walks with her dog Marty. A private family service will be held at a later date.
